Roger DeLong, after a second tour of duty I went to Optical School in Denver, CO, remained there for 18 months, got promoted to SP/5 and then spend 18 months in Einsiedlerhog, West Germany. I elected to get out of the Army from there. Our second son was born there. This was a lot better assignment than the missile base were we worked five days a week. I worked in civilian job for a year and then joined the Dayton, Ohio, Police Force where I retired from after 21 years of service. I live in Fairborn, OH, only about 45 min drive from Wilmington, OH.
